The company coordinates with various pest management companies across the country, and is accepting applications for those who need the services.

"Bed bugs can be very expensive to eliminate, and with the effects of this economy, we knew we had to give back," said Jeffrey White of BedBug Control. "We understand the importance of giving back and we wanted to continue the tradition and provide some relief to those in need. Ultimately, an individual's money should be spent on creating a happier holiday season, not dealing with the frustration of bed bugs."

Those who are looking for ways to prevent bed bugs may want to purchase mattress covers and frequently wash and heat-dry linens, as heat can kill these little insects and the covers can keep them out.
