Bed Bug Central partnered with a few other pest management professionals (PMPs) across the country to offer free bed bug treatments to those in need, and the program was so successful that they decided to make it an annual event.

This holiday season, PMPs donated services to help people get rid of bed bugs in their homes. The program is titled Taking the Bite Out of the Holidays, and they are excited for another year.

"We're energized coming out of this holiday season knowing that we were able to create a positive impact in people's lives and offer some relief," said Bed Bug Central owner Jeff White. "I am personally grateful to all the PMPs that donated their resources to make this charity so successful. Based on the turnout, we plan to make this an annual event with even more participants next year."

Those who are waiting until professional help arrives before they get rid of their bed bugs may want to purchase a mattress encasement, which can trap the little insects for the time being.
