Developing a plan to make sure your sleep environment is as clean as possible will help you get the most out of what precious time you do sleep, giving your body its best chance to benefit from sleep’s natural restorative process.

Encase your mattress, pillows, duvet and box spring with CleanRest® products featuring MicronOne™ fabric technology.
Wash your sheets and bed linens at least once a week in very hot water.
Remove carpets, drapes and curtains from your bedroom and replace them with hardwood floors and wooden or plastic blinds.
While we all love our family pets, we strongly suggest that you do not allow them into your bedroom to help reduce transmission of pet dander and other allergens.
Use a dehumidifier and keep it set to less than 50% relative humidity.
Vacuum your bedroom floors and furniture once a week. Consider wearing a protective dust mask while you vacuum.
Freeze plush children's toys in your freezer for 12 hours then wash them in hot water once a week to kill and remove dust mites and their feces.
If your bedroom has a fireplace in it, do not use it.
Keep your bedroom windows closed during peak allergy season.
